The beginning
My grandfather started Jenkins blacksmithing in 1976, and he began creating hand-forged pieces for most of southern Louisiana. He has become unable to blacksmith due to his age, but I have taken over the business. My grandfather was a very talented blacksmith, but I have found my knack for making knives.
Now
At my day job, Iām a construction manager for a small business, but blacksmithing is my true passion. With the help of my wife, Brie, we run Jenkins Blacksmithing and strive to produce the very best products possible. We make high-end knives completely from scratch and never from premade parts. Every piece is meticulously fitted and shaped. We also offer complementary sharpening with the purchase of the knife and a care card to ensure the longevity of your product. We also do ornimental metal work and bushhog blade sharpening for local clients.
